Volunteering
The following roles are available for volunteers - for further information regarding any of these roles, please contact Jeanne Creed on 0845 130 1875 – Option 3 (peak call times 9.30am to 11.00am or email enquiries@bristoldialaride.org.uk.
- Volunteer Admin Assistant - to provide administrative support including data-entry, dealing with correspondence and telephone enquiries, developing publicity and marketing materials.
- Volunteer Driver/Escorts - to drive our door-to-door, fully accessible minibus transport for disabled and older people for our day trips, festivals and events programme at evenings and weekends.
- Volunteer Consultant Webmaster - to update and develop the organisation's website including design and addition of new web pages, online submission forms and e-marketing.
- Volunteer Travel & Passenger Assistants - to assist disabled members of the service with supermarket and personal shopping needs and to support individual members who would like a 'buddy' to travel with them on our day trips, festivals and events programme.
- Volunteer Communications & Marketing Assistant - to assist in the development of innovative publicity and marketing materials including articles, features and press releases and attendance at local community events to promote the organisation.
- Volunteer Advisors to the Board of Trustees - to provide ad-hoc legal, financial, IT and marketing consultancy to the Board of Trustees.
- Volunteer Minibus Valeter – to assist with cleaning and valeting service of our fleet of 22 vehicles at our base in Fishponds. Full training provided.
